Agent Identity

How the assistant presents itself in emails and calendar events.

The assistant has a consistent identity across all communications. This page explains the default identity and customization options.

By default, the assistant uses these identifiers:

ElementValue
Display nameSkipUp
Short name (in signatures)Skip
Email address[email protected]

Emails from the assistant include this signature:

Best,
Skip
--
SkipUp | AI follow-up and scheduling assistant

The signature is appended to all outgoing emails from the assistant.

Pro subscribers can purchase the Agent Customization add-on ($199/month) to white-label the assistant with your own branding.

You can enable personalized signatures so that each workspace member’s first name appears in the email signature when they use the assistant. When turned on, the signature block automatically becomes:

Best,
Skip
--
Alice's AI Meeting Assistant

Where “Alice” is the first name of the member who initiated the scheduling request.

To enable personalized signatures:

  1. Go to Settings > White-Labelling
  2. Toggle Personalize for each member next to the Signature field
  3. Click Update Agent to save

When the toggle is on, the signature field shows a read-only template: {first_name}'s AI Meeting Assistant. The email preview updates to show your own name as an example.

  • Brand consistency — Present a unified experience to external contacts
  • Agency use — Schedule on behalf of clients with their branding
  • Partner integrations — Integrate scheduling seamlessly with your product

To configure your agent identity:

  1. Subscribe to the Agent Customization add-on (available during Pro checkout or from the Meeting Agent settings page)
  2. Go to Settings > Meeting Agent
  3. Set your display name, short name, email handle, and signature
  4. Use the email preview to see how messages will appear to external contacts
  5. Click Update Agent to save

The assistant’s identity also appears in calendar events:

  • Organizer name — Shows the display name (default: SkipUp)
  • Organizer email — Shows the email address (default: [email protected])

With the Agent Customization add-on, these reflect your custom configuration.

Can I change the assistant’s name myself?

Section titled “Can I change the assistant’s name myself?”

Yes — with the Agent Customization add-on. Go to Settings > Meeting Agent to configure your custom identity. The add-on is available to Pro subscribers for $199/month.

The default signature mentions “AI follow-up and scheduling assistant.” With customization, you control what the signature says.

Can I personalize the signature for each team member?

Section titled “Can I personalize the signature for each team member?”

Yes. Toggle Personalize for each member in the Signature section of the White-Labelling settings. When enabled, the signature dynamically displays each member’s first name — for example, “Alice’s AI Meeting Assistant” — whenever the assistant sends emails on their behalf.

Can I use personalized signatures and a custom signature at the same time?

Section titled “Can I use personalized signatures and a custom signature at the same time?”

No. Personalized signatures replace the custom signature when the toggle is on. Your custom signature is preserved in the background — turning the toggle off restores it immediately.

What happens if a member has no first name on their profile?

Section titled “What happens if a member has no first name on their profile?”

The assistant falls back to your custom signature (or the default if none is set). No incomplete text like “AI Meeting Assistant” without a name will ever appear.

Email handles use the @skipup.co domain. Custom domains are not currently supported.
